Houndstooth Fibers - Tea Cakes

Tea Cakes are made from the same yarn base as our Painted Ladies line, except that they are dyed from a sock blank for a fun tie-dyed or gradient effect. Each one is unique.  Skeins may be wound in the opposite color order to the photos shown.

Tea Cake sock yarn is a 4-ply Superwash Merino base that is super soft but with the perfect amount of nylon to help keep your garment's shape. Perfect for socks, shrugs, lovely shawls, and even sweaters. This yarn is perfect for all your projects.

Please note that no two skeins are alike, but within the same dye batch, they will be similar enough for larger garments.

Crochet: US B-1 to E-4 (2.25-3.5 mm) / 21-32 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in single crochet

Care: Superwash yarn is machine washable. However, to best retain the color, hand washing in cold water is advised. Lay flat to dry.
