April Shopping Updates: Orange Tier


Greetings!

Since Contra Costa County has moved into the Orange Tier starting April 7, 2021, our local customers are probably wondering what this means for shopping in the store at A Yarn Less Raveled?

We’re continuing to offer Personal Shopping appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays while we wait to see if the cases continue to decline, or if we’ll face a new surge. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!

We miss you... and we want you to be safe!  While we're happy and hopeful to see COVID-19 cases drop, the pandemic is not over.  The new variants and looser restrictions mean that we might see a new surge in a few weeks.  

If cases continue to decline, we will re-evaluate our shopping options in late April.  This gives our community and staff more time to get vaccinated, as well.

Why can't I just drop by and come in? 
  • Yarn shopping is more interactive and high-touch than buying groceries or other items, making it difficult to maintain 6 feet of distance.
  • We have a small space with only one door and no windows, which means less effective air circulation.
How can I shop?
  • We're happy to help you by appointment (in-store or virtual), by phone when we are in the shop, and by email. 
  • Browse our online store and Ravelry before stopping by to make the most of your visit.  We have limited services available during in-store appointments so please read the agreements in full before scheduling your appointment.
  • We continue to provide curbside pickup and shipping options for online, email, and phone purchases.
