![]() Knit up in super-bulky weight yarn and large needles, "To Make A Long Story Short" is a cowl with 2 options for length: the short version is 26 inches in circumference; the longer version is 52 inches. Knit Along (KAL) Participation To participate in this KAL, please purchase your yarn from A Yarn Less Raveled. We suggest using Amano Yana and Yana Journeys (175 yards per skein), Malabrigo Rasta (90 yards per skein) or Berroco Ultra Wool Chunky (held double, 145 yards per skein). You can easily knit two short cowls from one skein of Yana for the main color. If you are using Berroco’s Ultra Wool Chunky, you will hold two stands of yarn together both meet the yarn gauge requirement, and to give the cowl that “marled” look as in the photo. We’ve put together some suggested yarn combinations, using these yarn options. See examples in the photo, or set up a private shopping appointment, and we will help you choose your own combination. How to Participate Come join the holiday prep fun! Join us for a Zoom gathering on November 14 at 2pm, where we can share our progress, knit together, and ask questions of the designer.
